Charlie's First Day of School

Image
Charlie was happy this morning as he waved goodbye to me while Ryan loaded him up for his trip to daycare. He came to work with me yesterday and helped me get some things ready for my return. Today I'll be sitting in that same chair missing my baby.

A Snowy Day

Image
Charlie knew just what to do on this cold, snowy Saturday...take a nice long nap on the couch.

Charlie Visits the Lab

Image
Charlie had a great time visiting Paige's lab. We tried to put him to work at the bench but he preferred to sleep. Can't blame him with so many students willing to hold him.

On a Roll...!

Charlie Visits Gramma Manies at Work

Image
Charlie was once again on his best behavior for Gramma Manies. We think she has the magic touch...

Just because...

I like this picture.

St. Patrick's Day at the Park

Image
We made the most of this beautiful day with a trip to the park. A picnic lunch and a relaxing nap...both Charlie and Roxie had a blast.

Lunch with Charlie

Image
Charlie slept peacefully through lunch at Eden Alley today. Then again, when he is tired, I think he can sleep about anywhere.

Charlie Goes to Work

Image
Charlie visited Ryan at work today and from the looks of these pictures, he thinks this construction law stuff is kinda boring...

Ta-Da!

Image
So excited about the Bob! Can't wait til Charlie is big enough to hit the trails. In the meantime we will have fun cruising the neighborhood with our new jogging stroller.

First Night Out

Image
We hit the town last night sans Charlie for the first time. Charlie was in great hands with the Manies/Schweigel babysitting crew (plus Roxie). He was on his best behavior so hopefully we'll get another night out soon.

First trip to the park

Image
We walked to Loose Park yesterday after Ryan got home from work. Charlie watched as Ryan threw the ball to Roxie over and over...and over. Soon Charlie will be throwing the ball to Roxie.

For the grandparents

For the grandparents, because only a grandparent would find this interesting. I mentioned before that Charlie doesn't do much...here he is in action. Turn up the volume to hear this noisy child...(For the record, he is looking at his own reflection in a mirror. Brilliant!)

Is that what I think it is?

Image
Charlie is starting to smile...just when Paige is ready to throw in the towel with this fussy baby, he lays on the charm. A fast learner! He is starting to really notice things around him - he will follow Roxie as she moves around the room, likes to watch ceiling fans, lights and his elephant mobile...

Charlie and G-Lo

Image
Charlie met his great-grandmother Lo this past week and hopes to someday grow into his new bib (worn by Paige in picture).

Random Charlie moments from Week 4

Image
Charlie isn't very active yet and can't really do much other than eat, sleep and look cute. So here are some pics of him doing just that...
